Marty Esquivel was at one point standing on the record
demanding an impartial administrative accountability audit.
Brad Winter was a one point standing on the record
with a commitment to surrender a candid, forthright
and honest accounting of spending at the UAC.
Neither is now.
Which begs at least a few questions;
have they turned their back on their principles? Or,
is an audit now unnecessary? And,
do stakeholders now have no right to the truth
about the squandering of the public trust and treasure
at the Uptown Administrative Complex?
Or have Esquivel and Winter simply given up,
crushed beneath the onerous weight of Paula Maes,
APS/Modrall,
and their friends in the media;
Thomas J Lang, Kent Walz, Phill Casaus,
Michelle Donaldson, Sue Stephens, and
Thomas Pearl?
What does this mean for the future of the APS;
if every wo/man of character that takes a stand
against the corruption and incompetence in the APS;
... is summarily handed their ass?

Ass Handing
Good Ole' Boy Handbook: Definitiions Section Excerpt -
Ass Handing - Not to be confused with Ass Grabbing, this is what a G.O.B. does to those that don't want to play ball and help graft the system. Remember, Do-Gooders, Smiling Meddlers, and Character Counters are NOT allowed in the club, and should be handed their ass ASAP.
When did Brad Winters promise to come clean?
I remember Mr. Esquivel trying when he first got there, but maybe Mr. Key was right about him. Lawyer on school board = Politician in the making.
I do hope in three more years you will run again, Ched. I am in your district and you do have my vote.
Dear Mr. MacQuigg,
I apologize for the delay. We are currently collecting the requested
information and should have it by early next week. We will give all
information to Mr. Rigo Chavez, who will forward the information to you.
I hope this meets your expectations.
Sincerely,
Brad Winter

A colleague of mine, a teacher of 25+ years and myself, 7+ years were talking about the superentendency in APS.
We both felt that even though we want the best for the kids, are strong-willed and moraly bound to be public servants, we too would be grushedm grinded and rendered useless if we were found in the supentendent position because of the Good Ole Boys club headed by Paula.
So many of us feel we are defeated by the big monster before we can even propose change.
I'm sure this feeling is systemic in APS.

Lest we not forget,Patrick Garcia is Veronica's ex huband. His present wife was a counsler at the middle school Brenden and JR attended. The middle school that is infamous for sweeping everything under the rug, because we didn't want "bad" statistics.

I was a 22 year old baby security police officer when I first met Patrick at Harrison. I really liked the guy at that point. I had been hired as a dispatcher at 19 years old in 1987, and had also spoken to him via phone many times.
Something twisted him as time went on though, his personality became more bitter and vindictive. My ex wife told me that Gil and Veronica smoked some weed in his patrol car right after he came over from APD. I think she was doing curriculum at the time, my ex was in her car and saw them roll up and smoke up. I told and no one cared. It just got my ex-wife in trouble and she had to quit APSPD.
A simple drug test would have shown if they were getting high on duty or not. But I guess my word was shit since I was married to the secretary who didn't want to screw the boss and had the gall to tell on someone who made more money than her.
I honestly have nothing aginst people who have that little green card from the state and need it because they have cancer or glaucoma or whatever. But damn, driving a police car high? What an utter dumbfuck. He must have been doing her too, I guess?
As to Brenden and Jon, I hope they straighten up. I know Moon made some kind of deal to give Breneden credits if he got me to quit or got rid of me somehow. I know it sounds utterly paranoid to others that don't know how violent these boys were.
Anyways, thanks for reading!

One more comment on sweeping things under the rug - every time you fail to hold a child accountable, they learn that braking the rules has no consequences. The same goes for grown-ups.
