Personally, I think there are more appropriate uses for
the power and tax dollars entrusted to the leadership of the APS;
like perhaps educating our children.

Some kids followed me around the park today, was kinda strange. Not from around there, and sorta looking for trouble at my favorite park. I called the cops and they put it in the KDT.
I did tell Mordred to send their thugs, I just thought they would not be idiots enough to actually do it. Got something for them if they try anything, and the cops said they would do extra patrols and let the shift know.

I am not wearing a tinfoil hat, but I am a tad anxious. Ched, way more people see your blog, so I hope it is ok that I thank APD for at least coming out and listening to a person. They sent two very professional guys: shined up boots, no loose threads, all equipment in proper order, and they were respectful.
Most of all, they listened to me, and told me the unvarnished truth, not some fairytale and did not try to blow smoke up my ass.
I say it again, thanks APD, I feel protected. This particular former school guard with a head injury will sleep a little bit better knowing a few patrol officers know the dynamic now.
I may be just another of the ten guys they have to talk to and figure out what to do with tonight, but I felt listened to. If these two cops see me getting my ass kicked in the park, they will help, even if they do think I wear a tinfoil hat to bed.
