"Whenever the affairs of government go obviously wrong,

the good sense of the people will interpose and
set them to rights."
Thomas Jefferson 1789 (derived)

If only.

It could, but it doesn't.

People could go to the next board meeting and
demand an audit that will set right
an oligarchy gone obviously wrong;

but they won't.

Mr. Jefferson I suspect,
would be deeply disappointed;

considering what he and his friends went through
to end a government gone obviously wrong.

The Jews had to build some pyramids before they were able to get away from Pharoh, and on the map, really not so far! Is it obviously wrong for the Egyptians to enslave whole races? Yup. Who had the MIGHT to take them down, what military could best them at that time? Uh huh, NO ONE. They destroyed themselves as most thriving big empires do eventually.

The Internal Forces at APS that are supposed to be tiny working replicas of American Ideals and Governement in micro-cosm are not...there. They may exist in some rudimentary form on paper, but as we have seen these types of papers amount to no more than pretty speeches, none of the "big ideas" get done, the funding always goes into...where?

THAT is what some team of forensic accountants from ENGLAND need to find out, lets hire from someone WAY out of Paula and Co's influence. Hire a team of former SAS to make sure nothing gets screwed with, including the accountants. The Economist Magazine Site has some great articles on such things, advice for accountants about to go take down small corrupt governments in other countries and set them up with money tracking ability, so the graft can be caught more quickly the next time. Really interesting. Even accountants need muscle sometimes.

With a billion dollar budget, APS can be seen as a small island country ruled by despots who sell government resouirces to the highest bidder. Lets send in Homeland and some contract accountants, that sounds like a GREAT place for target hardening of potential terror funding, doesn't it? DHS can put a big "check" by the box that says: Secure Each Budget of Over 1 Billion Dollars with Forensic Audits and Terror-Fund Resistant Packaging

And they can meet some cool former SAS guys from England playing Forensic Accountant's Heavily Armed Bodyguard, those guys are BADASSES!
