"Ethical reform" is nonsense

in the absence of an agreed upon Code of Ethics,
and honest accountability to that standard.

Anything less, is a baby step in the right direction.

Public servants are supposed to be accountable to
a "higher standard of conduct".

In truth, they are not even accountable to the law;
the lowest standard of acceptable conduct.

Nicely put, I like that, the LAW as the BARE MINIMUM public servants should be observing and following, at least while on duty. Respecting the Law. That would be a good thing.
