Tom Savage resigns, Brad Winters Promoted

Tom Savage has resigned. One would hope, as the result of
his botched administration of the APS Police Department
and the APS Finance Division.

Brad Winter
has been promoted to take his place.

He is being apparently being rewarded for his recent handling
of the fire safety inspection scandal; and for his part in
sprucing up the Uptown digs.

He was part of the decisions to end fire inspections,
and to then spend the money that was saved,
on a new board room.

His defense of the decision included agreeing to;

"Well we've never burned a kid alive.", and saying
"I've only been here three years."
He is also the highest ranking administrator to acknowledge
that he has been asked to tell the truth about
the spending at the Uptown complex,
and then stonewall the answer.

He refuses to share with stakeholders, a candid, forthright
and honest accounting of the spending at 6400 Uptown Blvd.

He can be counted upon to make sure that,
what happens at Uptown Blvd, stays at Uptown Blvd.

For that, he is promoted.

He is now the Chief Operating Officer.
He is in charge of everything except educating kids.

One good ol' boy down + one promoted = a wash,

in terms of ending the corruption and incompetence
in the leadership of the APS.

Nothing from Monica Armenta's communications fleet
on his salary.

I am guessing that despite the $20M shortfall,
they will find money enough to give good ol' boy Brad Winter
a substantial raise.

Savage was a "Savage Hypocrisy" and a "sAvage injustice" laid upon the citizens of ABQ.
I have a feeling now we will experience a "Cold WINTER in Hell" for awhile until we can get him out too.
