There's a reason Paula Maes gives Marty Esquivel a great big hug before every board meeting

I think it's because she's grateful that
he won't stand up at one of those meetings and demand
a full scale forensic audit of the leadership of the APS;

including Paula Maes and the Modrall law firm.


That's worth a great big ol' hug, don't you think?


She doesn't need to hug anyone else on the board;

Robert Lucero, Berna Facio, Mary Lee Martin,
Gordy Rowe, and Delores Griego

all have their own reasons to prevent any audit that
would identity by name, the corrupt and the incompetent
in the leadership of the APS.

Paula Maes announced her position publicly; she and the
Albuquerque Public Schools, Board of Education
will never allow a forensic audit of their stewardship
of the public trust and treasure in the APS.

The whole board is in on it.

Without exception.

If there were a board member in opposition to her,
and the cover up of APS Modrall,

they would be on the record demanding an audit.

There is no good and ethical reason not to begin the audit.


They can't have it both ways.


They are only two kinds of board members;
those with the character and the courage to begin an audit,

and those who will oppose the audit as if their careers and
reputations depended on it. Like staying out of jail,
depended on it.

The board is divided apparently

0 in favor of an immediate full scale forensic audit
7 opposed.

Which is why that vote will never be taken,
at least not on the record.
