APS' budget shortfall

Rhonda Aubrey's investigators reported on the $20M budget shortfall. link

They blame it on a number of factors; most of which will stand little scrutiny.

Aubrey's news crews failed to mention years and years of waste, a financial department that has few policies and follows even fewer.

In driving by the Uptown Complex, I notice a construction dumpster parked in front. There has never been a time when there wasn't. The leadership of the APS has never even slowed down the torrent of money flowing into unnecessary and unjustifiable renovations to their digs at 6400 Uptown Blvd.

How could KOB TV do a report on a budget short fall and
not include the waste and mismanagement that has cost millions,
more millions than they are now short?

It is because Paula Maes, Modrall, and the media have a mantra
offered in a comment on Topix;

... what happens in (the leadership of) the APS,
stays in (the leadership of) the APS.
And there you have it.
