Gentlemen,
The leadership of the Albuquerque Public Schools administers a billion tax dollars a year.
A recent audit of the APS Finance Division reveals that the public interests and resources have gone undefended against corruption and incompetence, for years.
It would be ridiculous to assume that millions of tax dollars have not been stolen.
Our local District Attorney, Kari Brandenburg, is of no help.
She may well be a criminal co-conspirator in the cover up of
public corruption and criminal conspiracy in the leadership of the APS.
Bernalillo County Sheriff Darren White is involved as well.
I am wondering if either of you, either as State Auditor or
State Attorney General, has any obligation to involve your
offices in investigating the corruption and the cover up?
I am wondering if either of you will defend the public interests against incompetence and corruption in the leadership of the APS?
If the responsibility is not yours,
to whom should I address my inquiry?
