Forensic Audits of Public Service

Why isn't any agency of government subject to external auditing?

Why isn't every?

If one wanted to enable corruption;
who would they hire as their auditor;

• an outsider who gets paid to root out their corruption;
  
• or a local good ol' boy who is grateful for their cushy job?

The Meyners Audit revealed that the leadership of the APS
has never had financially sound policies and procedures.

They didn't use the word "never";
but it is self evident.

If there ever were such policies and procedures,
where are they now?

And who was it that went through the APS and tore those pages out of the written policies and procedures?

All the while,
their "internal" auditors never blew the whistle.

In fact, he and she, have been promoted.
They are now completely in charge of APS' cash drawer.

All of which begs a question;
why not have a forensic audit of every agency every year?

And more specifically;
Why not audit the entire leadership of the APS right now?

Accountability is fatal to corruption and incompetence.

Why not audit out the incompetent and the corrupt,
every year?

Because they don't want an audit.

In fact, Paula Maes and her Modrall say they will not allow
a forensic audit of the leadership of the APS.

Mary Lynn Roper, and Rhonda Aubrey all say;

"Sounds good to us Paula."
