APS put student SS#s on the internet.

In a story buried deep in the Journal, it was revealed that
student records, including their student ID numbers were
openly available on the internet for four months.

My information comes from the Journal and from my viewing
of a report on KOAT TV which included an interview with
the infamous Monica Armenta.

I am relying on my memory of viewing the report.
The report was not archived and cannot be linked.

Monica Armenta denied that student social security
numbers were posted on the internet, although KOAT's
investigative team reported student numbers beginning
with 585 (and another three digit prefix that I do not recall,)
that correspond to social security numbers assigned to
those born in New Mexico.

There is nothing on the APS website of course, and KOAT
chose not to provide access to the report, to viewers.

My request for more information from Mary Lynn Roper's
KOAT TV was ignored.

cc upon posting; Monica Armenta, Mary Lynn Roper

I saw a series of sequential social security numbers in the Charter Vocational Computer before Danny virtually firebombed the computer hard drives, it piqued my interest. I made print outs and a back-up, safely in the hands of the DA, which also proves his evidence destruction.

I was given the same song and dance - blah, this, look a Zebra, need some overtime?

Kelly Callahan gave me the most rational explanation - they were illegal aliens, and the school district was told by council not to turn them in or otherwise identify them as such, but had to give them numbers for the student accountability data system...

But I think that was a bullshit excuse given to HER by Danny's corrupt and in on it Board. Then, she became Danny's goat for a while, he was after her when she asked questions of the Board; they obviously told him what happened and then failed to protect the "whistleblower", in this case Kelly.

But everyone liked and respected Kelly, so she repeated the company line that she did not KNOW was a line. She swallowed the lie, whole, wanting to keep her job, or just wanting to believe the BEST in people.

But Kelly, a principal with no police training, noticed the sequential numbers and thought it was funny, asked and was given the old song and dance.

We knew those kids better than anyone, the field troops - EAs, Teachers, Assistant Principals and the one lone guard, me. Danny was vary rarely at work, he was at his house building it with stolen money and building materials, as financed by, you guessed it, all those sequential socials and just not dropping kids who were absent for more than ten days.

So, yeah, I'm SURE APS wanted that down too, so we couldn't go see WHO ELSE is scamming APS, although anyone with a brain and high enough SADS rights could right NOW.

The illegal kids were given fake SSNs by Site admin because the school couldn't legally require a sSN disclosed from any student.
Some say the State ID #s were put into place partly so that illegals could eventually be identified and rooted out when the laws change.
But yes, you are correct. SSN's were faked when they had none on file. I believe it was an APS policy of sorts up until about 2 years ago.
