APS school board member Gordy Rowe,

on the issue of the armed defense of schools,conceded that "I think the community is expecting us to act quickly." "They want us to show leadership."

Not just any leadership Mr. Rowe.

The leadership that you show by voting to except yourself from accountability to the student standard of conduct; and your support of the cover up of the ethics and accountability scandal in the leadership of the APS; and your refusal to stand up in defense of an impartial (forensic) audit of the leadership of the APS; is not the leadership that we need when the issue is one of leading by personal example.

Your refusal to hold yourself honestly accountable, as a board member and role model, to the student standard of conduct. is not leadership in any acceptable meaning of the concept.

Your kind of leadership is the problem, not the solution.
