According to school board president Paula Maes;

"Every parent has the right to get in the faces of teachers and counselors"

An unfortunate choice of words perhaps. Students are taught that just because you have the right to do something, does not make it right to do that something.

The premise comes straight from the Pillars of Character Counts; the student standard of conduct.

But the board, and senior administrators, are not accountable to the student standard of conduct.

Not since Maes/Modral et al, removed from their own code of conduct the phrase;

In no case shall the standard for an adult be lower than the standard of conduct for students.

Not since the leadership of the APS abdicated their responsibilities as the senior role models in the District.

The hypocrisy becomes unbearable when you consider that Paula Maes is also the president of the Character Counts Leadership Council.

The leadership of the APS models before students
nothing but hypocrisy.
