Marty Esquivel calls for investigation of APS Police Department.

Marty Esquivel stood on the record today and said everything that needed to be said.

1. Investigation reports are public records and should be surrendered to public inspection
2. There was a real problem in the administration of the APS Police Department.
3. There is a real problem in the administration and its lack of effective oversight of the police department.
4. Evidence of criminal misconduct must be turned over to the DA.

UPDATE,
This post was substantially rewritten on this date, May 29,2009.
Two and half years later, evidence of criminal misconduct is still
being hidden from the DA, and statutes of limitation on felony
criminal misconduct have expired.

APS good ol' boys "allegedly" broke the law and
then got away, scot free.

Sounds like Mr. E is an ethical man, i bet he believes in Character Counts. Its a good basis for an ethical school district, anyone can see that.

Well done, for covering this Ched, and well done Mr. E for standing up and saying what you thought was right, even if it might not be popular.

Ched is an inspiration to me, and I hope everyone sees how brave a man he is for standing up for what HE believes in, against the odds. Ched qualifies as a MENTORING BADASS to me, I think the world is WAY better off with people like Mr. McQ in it! Anyone messes with Ched, they mess with me.

Mr Esquivel is a nominee for "badass in training", I think he will turn out to be one of the BEST once he gets some educational miles under his belt, ya think? Well done, sir.
