Discipline standoff at Jimmy Carter Middle School

It has been reported that there is a discipline standoff at
Jimmy Carter Middle School.

Staff members are unhappy about the support they receive
from the administration in enforcing the school's discipline
problems.

It is reported that
the the teachers union President, Ellen Bernstein
has been to the school on at least two occasions
to try to broker some accommodation.

It is further reported that
JCMS Principal, Rita Martinez refuses to admit that
there is a problem.

Instead, she

"... told the staff that there were "liars" among us,
trying to make trouble."

Having been there and done that; "lying" about having
a principal who wouldn't enforce discipline policies,

I can tell you that the problem will not be resolved
in any manner that documents the evidence, and
then examines it in the light of day.

It will be resolved good ol' boy style;
Complainants will be ignored,
until they die or go away.

True to form, Ellen says "We'll be back and get this fixed!" and nothing happens.
At least she's consistent.

Ellen and her "Union", a total waste of space.

So much money I gave them, and they wouldn't be there when I needed them.. in some ways there as prideful and negligent as Winston Brooks.
Guess we're caught between a rock and ..... a rock.

Yep, we had another meeting yesterday (Thurs) and they started calling us liars...again. I believe the Union reps were there...fat lot of good that did us.
I think it's presumptive to call all of us liars. Some of us want things to function clearly and correctly, whether that's on our end, and/or admins.
I hope Rita will stop labeling us all as liars...that is really not worthy of a respected boss.
