APS Budget takes a million dollar hit.

Apparently the APS will have around a million and a half
fewer dollars in its budget next year.

APS says it can make up the difference.

How?

There is at least one place where a great deal of money can
be saved.

How much money do you suppose,
is wasted every year in a district with inadequate standards
and accountability?

I'll bet it's way more than a million and a half dollars.

All we have to do to recover that money,
is to run a standards and accountability audit of
the entire leadership of the APS.

If there are

  • inadequate standards,
  • inadequate accountability,
  • corruption, and/or incompetence,
an honest audit will expose them.

Millions of dollars will be made available,
with no increase in taxes.

There is no downside;

unless you're one of the good ol' boys whose record,
is a record of incompetence and corruption.

In which case, there will be a down side.

Accountability is fatal to corruption and incompetence.
