the discussion of the fate of the Public Forum

piddled out into nothing. It has been referred back to committee.

The board looked more like the seven stooges as they tried to figure out how to follow Maes/Modral's lead in emasculating the forum, while at the same time trying not to say or do anything on the record which assigns to them the responsibiity for denying citizens the right to petition the board on the record and upon any legitimate issue.

Not even one boardmember is willing to stand on the record and demand real respect for the rights of free speech. Not one will champion the right of their constituents to petition them in any meaningful way.

Corruption? Incompetence? Cowardice?
