A test of Kari Brandenburg's personal integrity

DA Brandenburg,

Will you surrender an ethically redacted record of your actions
with respect to the allegations of criminal misuse of an NCIC
data base to criminally invade the privacy of APS whistle blowers?

Yes, means you have personal integrity.

No, means you do not.

cc Kari Brandenburg upon posting.

I think I do this to people too I hold them to a standard that is perfectly logical to me, but is not so clear to others. The personal dynamics of being given information form a "non-trditional source" like you aor me is also aquite the hurdle to getting DAs to give us an honest listen.

Cops and DA lawyers hate being told what to do - they decide the fate of people, who gets written up, who gets seen by a judge, and to a large extent can influence the outcome of a proceding via their written reports and informal recommendations to the Court. Not Ched. And usually not Joe anymore either.

Much of the resistance I get in matters of normal inquiry by those of us Americans who know the Constitution well enough to legally ask? Is framed in grander terms and is politically correct, but says basically "Get lost kid ya' bother me. Come back when you have a case that is fully annotated, supported with witnesses or ironclad evidence."

Had you instead plied her secretary with wine and kisses, then asked her to PLEASE show her this theory you had on how a billion dollars worth of educational future per year is being squandared and lawyers who have a duty to protect the APS entity are instead letting APS stay broken to PROFIT from the sad state of affairs contrary to ethics of the Board?

Ok, run on, yes, but maybe that is what it will take. You need to map out each act and law violation in terms the DA can understand, and can work with. And from a source she doesn't think is a crackhead.

With no initial report, no DA cover sheet (or modern equivilant) was ever produced, so the DA has gotten nothing to OFFICIALLY prompt the machine of justice into inevitable jurisprudence.

It was handled with Memos and changes in policy, and it may have been a big part of what got Lovato un-invited from being APS Police director, after a nice paid vacation of course.

We got a win here - Bill Reed is the school police chief now, and we both know he won't arrest us for just spouting off in a free speech manner. He may very well cuff us if we get loud, but he will let us go after as long as we don't threaten any violence or break any laws. I think that is a positive improvement that you and I can take partial credit in accomplishing - we got Bill a good job by helping to get rid of Gil!
