The New Mexico educators code of ethical conduct

requires them to behave ethically.

When the leadership of the APS deleted certain language
from their own code of conduct, they behaved unethically.

The language that they deleted had read;

In no case shall the standard of conduct for
an adult be lower than the standard of conduct
for students.
Students are accountable to a nationally recognized, accepted,
and respected code of ethical conduct.

The leadership of the APS has excepted itself from accountability
to any code of ethical conduct; by their own deliberate choice.

In truth, they are not even accountable to the law.

I reported Beth Everitt to the NM Educators Ethics Bureau.

The New Mexico Public Education Department, and its
Educators Ethics Bureau ignored my complaint.

It in not unethical apparently,
to hold students accountable to a standard of ethical conduct
higher than the standard of conduct for those whose job it is
to enforce that higher standard upon students.

If we really want our children to grow up to embrace character
and courage, and honor

someone has to show them what they look like.
