We are paying for audits that aren't protecting our interests?

according to blogger Heath Haussamen

"Housing audits 'didn't uncover all of the facts'"

Noteworthy;
the difference between audits and "forensic" audits.

There should be forensic auditing of all government spending.

If there were, waste from corruption and incompetence
would be virtually eliminated.

The net savings would more than pay for the audits.
It's a no brainer.

Why oppose them, except to hide the waste?

Accountability is fatal to corruption and incompetence.
