Despite a vote of "no confidence" from UNM educators,
Jamie Koch will remain on the UNM Board of Regents.
but not as its President.

Veteran politico Raymond Sanchez will take his place.


And the dynamic will change how, exactly?

Does anyone really suppose that Jamie Koch will not be
exerting the same influence over the UNM Board of Regents
that he always has? the very same influence that earned him
a vote of no confidence in the first place.

Governor Bill Richardson must suppose that UNM faculty
members are very stupid.
