There is a good guy and a bad guy in the melodrama over
webcasting from Santa Fe.
Dudley Do Right, played by Senator Mark Boitano,
wanted a robust webcasting of the people's business
in the people's house.
Snidely Whiplash, played by
Senator John Sapien, did not.
His amendment to webcasting
legislation placed a single camera
in a position and at such an angle,
as to make it useless to stakeholders.
It doesn't show the face of a
single Senator while they conduct
our business; including his own.
Unlike the cartoon version, wikilink,
this time there was no happy ending.
Nell Fenwick, played by any New Mexican,
never had a chance, and was squashed
under the wheels of the train.
Character, courage and honor, did not prevail.
