"Trust us to do the right thing."

Senate Majority Leader
Michael Sanchez,

lives in a world of his own.

He actually believes that
the common New Mexican
is not interested in
ethics reform in Santa Fe.

Is it even humanly possible for a politician to be
that out of touch with his constituents?

Although he is doing everything he can,
to prevent robust webcasting of the Senate and the rest of
the legislature, he has the nerve to say;

Trust us to do the right thing. Listen.
Watch what we’re doing.
If we’re doing it wrong, tell us!”

OK Senator, I have watched, and I have listened,
(although I had to get up at 4:30 in the morning
in order to ride the train to
Santa Fe, to do it),

and now I get to tell you that you're doing it wrong.

Turn on the cameras so we can watch you and your cronies
weasel out of protecting our interests by creating
the most robust ethics commission that can be imagined,

and so we can then post video of your betrayal of our trust,
on the internet for everyone else to see as well.
