Bullying at School-Not Child's Play

was the title of the essays written by more than 400 middle and high school students.

The essays were written from the perspective of the bully, the bullied, and the bystander.

The essays were critically evaluated by 19 eminently qualified adults; one of whom is a member of the school board.

The tone of the article was the the judges were "surprised" by what they had read.

That is unfortunate, because it is unlikely that a problem will be solved by those who are surprised when some one points out the obvious; obvious at least to teachers and students.

The leadership model for the APS is that solutions are imposed from above; by people who are admittedly surprised by the obvious.

The record demonstrates that
the solutions that they have imposed have not worked,
...obviously.

There is not a problem in education that we were not "lead" into. The disenfranchisement of stakeholders produces nonsensical and ineffective solutions.

...an argument submitted in support of site based decision making, and

in support of the need to impose honest accountability in the administration of the public trust and treasure in the leadership of the APS.

beginning with an immediate impartial (forensic) administrative accountability audit of the APS.

all in favor; say aye

all opposed; say nothing at all
