The Journal ran three stories this morning, on the fallout over the Locksley situation.
They even quoted, though inaccurately, my question about why no agency of law enforcement was asked to investigate any of the allegations.
Their most grievous omission was of my original question;
will you begin an independent investigation of the entire fiasco?
Despite the facts;
- it would cost pennies, comparatively, and
- the investigation, according to UNM President David Schmidly, would exonerate him and his staff on charges of a cover up, and that
- that finding would completely rehabilitate the University's reputation as far as the appearance of a cover up,
So is the Journal.
Why not begin an impartial, independent investigation that
will report to the public record, except that, that investigation
will reveal administrative incompetence and corruption,
which they really are trying to cover up?
