update for the following post; gradegate policy change

The motion was apparently tabled.

KRQE reported that the board wanted to wait until after the grievance hearing to vote on the policy.

As I have previously pointed out; the leadership of the APS will spend tax dollars defending themselves against a grievance. The proposed policy; which had unanimous board approval in the policy committee meeting; supports the argument of the grievant. The leadership of the APS intends to litigate at taxpayer expense against a policy it will approve in the future.

It would be bad for their case if they went ahead and passed the policy before they have to litigate against its philosophical foundation, in arbitration.

Maes and Modral will be the winners, overall.

I am at least a little disappointed that the training has not been rescheduled.

It will be interesting to see if the public will be allowed to attend; when and if the training is rescheduled.

considering the current state of affairs, Everitt denying requests for the public records of the corruption in the APSPD; it would seem the need for the training is compelling.
