The speakers were articulate and well reasoned.
In particular a 12 year old girl who spoke without any apparent fear, in the community boardroom in front of adults and cameras. She was respectful and her argument was compelling.
She was there to complain about the fact that her principal was transfered and she was not involved in the process; despite a contrary promise made to her by the district.
She won't get to watch herself on tv because she will not be on the tv broadcast version of the board meeting.
Because Paula Maes doesn't want the cameras rolling
when constituents "get in her face".
