I have written about the opposition facing Marty Esquivel

a reader of my blog asked if Mr. Esquivel was really facing opposition to his proposed audit of the leadership of the APS.

I would suggest that every board member and administrator in the APS who knows that Marty Esquivel has placed this audit on the table; and will not stand beside him; stands against him.

So far, it looks like Gordon Rowe is the only one standing.

It is now up to the reader to reject this premise;

or act upon it.

Tell me how you stand up for what you believe in,
except by standing up for what you believe in.

Explain it to me the way you would have it explained
to 89,000 of our sons and daughters in the APS.

If we really want our children to grow to embrace
honor and courage and character;
someone has to show them what that looks like.

It is demonstrated by our honest accountability
to a meaningful standard of conduct;
for eight measly hours a day.

Talk is cheap. It is also cheep; if you get my drift.

Will you stand up, actually stand up a board meeting,
and demand transparent accountability for the leadership of the APS; accountability to a meaningful standard of conduct, by a system over which they have no control; and even against their will?

or not?

There is no equivalent gesture.
