According to KRQE news, you have been invited to attach your name, credibility and reputation to the impending review of the APS Police Department.

As you must know, there are allegations of corruption in the Administration of the APS Police, among which is the allegation that illegal background checks have been made on their behalf.

The illegal checks could only have been made on computer systems/privileges available to "real" police departments such as the BCSO and the APD.

Before you participate in an investigation of alleged illegal background checks made by the administration of the APS; will you make an unequivocal statement, on the record, regarding the possibility that that investigation will reveal the use of APD computers?

Your personal assurance that there is no potential conflict of interest between your participation in the investigation and the possibility of a cover up of APD involvement would contribute greatly to the community's confidence in the impending investigation.
