District Attorney Kari Brandenburg has found some free time

to pen a wordy defense, for the Alb. Journal this morning,
of her decision not to criminally prosecute
the parents of truant students. link sub. req.

She also has time to clear up cookie recipe boggles
on her work phone.

Yet she still cannot find the time to decide if the evidence,
already in her possession, of felony criminal misuse
of Sheriff Darren White's NCIC data base,
by senior APS administrators;

should be offered to the grand jury for their consideration.

The criminal misconduct was discovered in December,
of the year before last.

Three senior administrators that were implicated, tacitly
or overtly, no longer work for the APS.

One has fled the jurisdiction; Beth Everitt,
one soon will; Tom Savage, and
one has apparently dropped off the face of the earth;
Gil Lovato
