APS refuses town hall meeting

Local media refuses to ask; why not?

The leadership of the APS has been asked repeatedly
if they will hold a town hall meeting;
there to answer legitimate stakeholder questions
candidly, forthrightly, and honestly;

all of them.

They refuse.

They lack the character and the courage to actually say; no.

So they stonewall the question.

And neither the Journal's Zsombor Peter, nor Kent Walz,
nor KOB TV's Mike Burgess, nor
KOAT TV's Mary Lynn Roper,
nor KRQE TV's Michelle Donaldson

will ask them to explain, defend or even acknowledge
their deliberate decision;

not to engage in a candid, forthright and honest discussion
of any aspect of the administration of the public trust
and treasure, in the APS.

Since Zsombor Peter himself, has ruled out inappropriate
superordinate influence, as the reason that he will not ask
the question; why not?

I can think of only two remaining reasons,
that Zsombor Peter and the rest of the local media
will not ask the question;

their incompetence and/or their corruption.

They are incompetent if they cannot see that it is newsworthy.
They are incompetent if they are afraid to ask the question.

They are corrupt if they are deliberately withholding
that information from stakeholders even through
mill levy, bond issue, and board member elections.

I am trying to think of a way to word it different. Your words of freedom, the mantra you repeat on this blog, become code words for those entrnched in ignorace as "rebellion".

You need to get them with new vocabulary, with new tendrils of Justice, buddy. How about if every one of your readers, me inluded, wrote an IPRA request to APS on a subject of interest, then gave you the tracking information, so you could say what IPRA requests were easily granted (How many bicycles did APS Police buy for patrolmen over the last five years?) to ones they won;t answer (How is the Volunteer Policy per the Board actually implemented? What volunteer services has APS nurtured and trained up to help in emergencies?)

So, if new wording from multiple blog readers and post-junkies, who love to write and can all put a stamp on a envelope and send in an IPRA request, gets through the informational guardians to the stakeholders,at least some new concepts will be in their very old-think ways.

Plant a bunch of seeds, maybe one will grow. William the Bruce kicked the ASS of the English becasue William Wallace planted seeds. Scotland is free as a result.

Thanks for being Wallace, ched, just don't get your guts pulled out! What would you yell at the end instead of Freedom? "IPRA!" or "Ethics!"

A thousand paper cuts from the pages of junk they want you to pay tons of cash for. When JeffCo Sheriff got lotsof requests for Columbine related material, they made it avaialble on Cd. This was done years ago, and APS can't archive anything by having a communications' or microfiche person take some digital photos? Then APS has them forever, and easy to read, would make it easy for RDA to make the summary sheet we KNOW is needed to cut lawyer costs.
