Lt Governor, Diane Denish
accepted campaign contributions from
some "gentlemen" who were later
indicted in the ripoff of millions of tax
dollars.
She unloaded that millstone by
giving the money to "charity".
Blogger Haussamen reported, link,
“As has been my practice, I willNow we find out that the "charity" that she donated the money to, a nonprofit affordable housing group, isn't so much a charity, as it is a mechanism to retain the political influence that money can buy in New Mexico.
donate to charity any contributions
received from any individual who is indicted for a crime, including those individuals indicted today,” Denish said Friday in a statement released by her office.
Blogger Monahan relays, link,
that the "affordable housing"
group is actually run by
Diana Dorn-Jones, a politico
and Marty Chavez crony, with
a sketchy past and some political
muscle which could be used to
Denish's ultimate advantage
in her run for governor.
The net effect is that she hasn't done
much more than move the money
from one bank account under her name, to another account
under her name. Which is just like not giving the money away
at all, except that an element of dishonesty has been added.
Not that giving the money away actually severed her ties to
people indicted in the felony abuse of taxpayer trust. link
Not to forget, Denish still, has not laid out her plan
to end the culture of corruption, at once and for all.
In the absence of a plan to end the culture of corruption,
it is fair to ask, if in fact,
she even plans to end the culture of corruption.

And yet, does anyone hear her calling a "STOP" to the professional relationship between Bruce Mallett and her team.
Recap: Bruce Mallot is supoened for allegedly scamming NM Teachers retirement fund for mucho-$$$.
This month, in a Santa fe paper, he was still be reported as being on her finance/accounting team.
Is he STILL one of your team players Denish?
Will you respond to that simple question either her and/or the media to clear your reputation and professionalism?
