Lame duck Mayor Marty Chavez will be sitting down with


Mayor Elect Richard Berry
at noon today.




I am wondering, why?





According to Trip Jennings, NMI, link, Chavez said;

“...R.J. Berry will be the next mayor of Albuquerque ...

I’ve congratulated him on a great campaign.
He and I will be meeting tomorrow at noon.”

A "great" campaign?


Chavez deliberately, maliciously,
and repeatedly, spread the most
mean spirited lies about
Richard Berry.

He said awful things about him.

He called him awful things.

And now, according to
good ol' boy protocol,

they will shake hands and congratulate each other on a "great" campaign.

It could be argued that a less gracious winner might say,
don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

But then that's just me.
