Heath Haussamen has posted a message from Senate President Pro Tem Tim Jennings, link. Jennings wrote;
"Recent revelation that the executive still does not have a clear understanding of what New Mexico’s prior fiscal year tax collections are leads me to believe that the Legislature is not receiving accurate information from the executive."By logical extension and premise, he has said that the citizens of the State of New Mexico have not been told the truth about resources belonging, fundamentally, to them.
I replied to Jenning's post. I invited him to step up as the champion of transparently accountable politics and public service, at his very next opportunity.
This is Jennings in the Senate Rules Committee;
"the place where ethics bills went to die."
