Someone in the Leadership of the Albuquerque Public Schools

chose to spend millions of tax dollars to fix up a building;
the Uptown Administrative Complex

rather than protect 89,000 of this community's sons and
daughters from being burned alive one day at school.

All they had to do was allow reasonable and necessary
fire safety inspections;

and then hold themselves honestly accountable to the results.

They chose the building.

Aren't you just a little curious who "they" are?

and who are "they" in the media,
who will not tell us who they are?

Thomas J Lang
Kent Walz
Mary Lynn Roper
Rhonda Aubrey
Michelle Donaldson

What is proved by their failure, except their corruption?

It a somewhat clever ploy.
APS says to state fire marshalls "We know you don;t have the manpower to inspect us, so we'll make a contract with ABQ Fire dept".
"OK" the state happily responds, appreciating APS' seeming kindness.
Soon thereafter, APS cancels the contract with ABQ Fire, and doesn't tell the state. State Fire is understaffed, so APS is acting the professional Bully, taking advantage of the situation.
Like the rubes and hillbillies the APS Board is, they say "Wow...now we have extra money! Let's fix up our own house all beautiful witht he millions $$$ we saved!" even though they have broken down cars and chickens running in the yard ( a metaphor for lacking textbooks and broken fire systems throughout the district, AND cutting the homeless student budget in half this year).
In other states, these people would be run out of town on a rail! YEt here we are, taking it up the wazoo, one more time, and sacrificing our children to the heartless vampires that want a soft cushion to sit their fat, exploiting asses on!
