When A School Superintendent Refuses to be Accountable as a Role Model

They are not just refusing to be held accountable
as a role model for students, staff and the community.

They are refusing to be held
honestly accountable to a meaningful standard of conduct.

They are refusing to be held accountable for anything at all.

When Linda Sink,
Gary Norris,
Steve Flores,
Diego Gallegos,

Winston Brooks, and
Tom Miller

refuse to hold themselves accountable as role models,
they are refusing to be held accountable for anything at all.

Linda Sink
has refused to be held honestly accountable for
her conduct and competence as a public servant,
the steward of a billion tax dollars a year, and as
the senior most administrative role model for 90,000 of
our sons and daughters.

Gary Norris has refused to be held honestly accountable for
his conduct and competence as a public servant,
the steward of a billion tax dollars a year, and as
the senior most administrative role model for 90,000 of
our sons and daughters.

Steve Flores, has refused to be held honestly accountable for
his conduct and competence as a public servant,
the steward of a billion tax dollars a year, and as
the senior most administrative role model for 90,000 of
our sons and daughters.

Diego Gallegos has refused to be held honestly accountable
for his conduct and competence as a public servant,
the steward of a billion tax dollars a year, and as
the senior most administrative role model for 90,000 of
our sons and daughters.

Winston Brooks has refused to be held honestly accountable
for his conduct and competence as a public servant,
the steward of a billion tax dollars a year, and as
the senior most administrative role model for 90,000 of
our sons and daughters.

Tom Miller has refused to be held honestly accountable for
his conduct and competence as a public servant,
the steward of a billion tax dollars a year, and as
the senior most administrative role model for 90,000 of
our sons and daughters.

And, not one of them

has the character and the courage to explain,
defend or even acknowledge their position.

Not one of them is a fit role model.
Not one of them is fit to be the next superintendent
of the APS.

And Paula Maes is going to hire one of them anyway.

She will hire the one who promises to do the best job
of hiding the relationship between APS and the Modrall.

And of preventing APS' first annual
Administrative Accountability Audit.

And of covering the asses of the corrupt and incompetent
good ol' boys in the leadership of the APS.

... just you wait and see.

I just read somewhere that the NMBOE should be doing annual audits of APS admin. Do you know if that's true? Did I read that here?
KOB.com has blogging going on, I might have read it there. I don't know how much I'd trust the state to do an audit though.

Paula Maes' board was required to do a yearly evaluation of Beth Everitt.

Their refusal to complete the evaluation before Everitt packed up and left, violated board policy and state law.

If anyone is auditing, and they don't care about that,

what difference does it make if they are auditing at all?

The state government cannot be trusted to do an impartial investigation; Grade Gate proved that.
