Suppose We Hired the Very Best Superintendent in the Whole World

What would it mean for the APS?

Would there still be a good ol' boys club?

Would there still be no meaningful standards of conduct or competence for public servants in the public schools?

Would there still be no honest accountability for members of the leadership of the APS, even to the law?

Since we clearly are not going to hire
the very best superintendent in the world

is there some other way

to institutionalize standards and accountability
in the leadership of the APS?

Is there some way even
to get the subject on the table?
