Mark Twain
The fight is over whether or not the leadership of the APS
will ever be impartially audited.
When I picked a fight withThomas J Lang, Mary Lynn Roper, and Michelle Donaldson
I picked a fight with people,
who have a lot more readers and listeners than I do.
That would put them at a distinct advantage
if only their side could actually be printed in the paper
or shown on the 10 o'clock news.
The argument against the audit is unprintable.
It cannot be shown on the news.
I have put my argument at no risk by picking a fight with
wo/men who buy their ink by the barrel;
their position is indefensible; and can only be hidden.
And all of the ink and watts in the world, are of no use.
None the less, their side prevails.
Ironically, not because they have all the ink;
but because I have relatively none.
The readers of the Albuquerque Journal will not discussan administrative accountability audit for the APS.
Nor will the viewers of KRQE, KOAT, or KOB.
Nor will the listeners to the Jim Villanucci Show
on KKOB radio.
Without public discussion, there will never be an audit.
They will win.
