The First Annual APS Administrative Accountability Audit

The best case scenario:

Impartial auditors come in, and do a full scale forensic accountability audit on the leadership of the APS. They look for corruption, incompetence, and the practices that enable them; missing or inadequate standards, and the lack of systemic accountability to what ever standards there are.

And they find nothing wrong.

Winston Brooks
starts with a clean slate and no hidden problems.

Community confidence in the leadership of the APS
is completely restored,
and
everyone
lives happily ever after.
The next best scenario:
Impartial auditors come in, and do a full scale forensic accountability audit on the leadership of the APS. They look for corruption, incompetence, and the practices that enable them; missing or inadequate standards, and the lack systemic accountability to what ever standards there are.

And they find somewhere between a few, and
a whole bunch of things
wrong.

Winston Brooks
starts work with a list of all of
his problems; all of them.

He takes the appropriate action, transparently.

Community confidence in the leadership of the APS
is completely restored,
and
everyone
lives happily ever after;

except Paula Maes, Modrall, and the rest of
APS' good ol' boys.

The worst case scenario:
Paula Maes, Modrall, APS' good ol' boys,
Thomas Lang, Mary Lynn Roper, Sue Stephens,
and
Michelle Donaldson,

conspire successfully to prevent an audit.

Winston Brooks will have no idea who and
where his problems are.

He will have only what the good ol' boys feed him.

Nobody will be exposed, and nothing will change.

And the leadership of the APS will never regain
the respect and the confidence of the community.

But that will be OK,
because Paula Maes, Modrall, and APS' good ol' boys

... all live happily ever after.
