Transparent accountability in government, how much is too much?

It is hard to imagine government that is transparent enough,
much less, too transparent.

Government "secrets" are defined and protected according to
open government laws; the Inspection of Public Records Act,
and the Open Meetings Act.

Government should be transparent, open, and accountable to
the people, limited only by the law, technology, and common
sense.

Any more secrecy than that, serves only one purpose;
it allows politicians and public servants to escape consequences
for their corruption and incompetence.

There is only one reason to hide the truth.

The very worst thing that a politician or public servant can do,
is anything they do in (unwarranted) secret.
