APS recently put two administrators on leave, for reasons
which the leadership of the APS chose not to share because
it is a "personnel issue".
By releasing their names and nothing else, they have started
the grinding of a rumor mill, link, that will destroy these men's
reputations, no matter what it is that they really did.
Destroying their reputations works the advantage of
APS/Modrall, should either of these gentlemen want to
litigate against the leadership of the APS,
as a result of what is being done to them.
It's the way they roll.
I've seen it.
I've experienced it.
UPDATE: The link no longer functions. It was to the KOB Topix Forum.
On it, the men were accused of everything under the sun, including child
molestation. I suspect that the thread was taken down by forum
administrators, because it had finally gotten so outrageous.

APS and the appearance of impropriety.

This is an old public school trick to humble not only the possible offenders, but coworkers as well.
By calling it a "personnel matter", then if anyone from Sandia contacts the media and talks, or discusses it in school meetings, or tries to sway "innocent" or "guilty" to anyone, then those people can be fired for "malicious rumoring" and/or "violating a fellow employee's privacy".
Effectively, this overides free speech rights, and sets a person up for possible termination.
MAny school districts employ this. No one can write statements to protect them, no one can come forth and present proof of guilt, and no one can address the media.

Check it out... Looks like
aps threatened a law suit if it wasn't taken down!
I don't blame them. The stuff that was being posted there went way beyond the pale.
