Winston Brooks' Castle Keep

Castle keep; wikilink

I have been disturbed ever since I had to surrender my drivers license in order to go to a board meeting.

I get it. I understand that someone walked into a bathroom and found someone "bathing". And some purses and a car were stolen. link But is this overkill?

APS' top cop, Bill Reed is in between a rock and a hard place.
He will be damned for allocating too many resources, or too few.
Enough said. The resource allocation is not what is bugging me.

What is creeping me out is that, all of the loyal troops, their power,
and their resources are being called back into the Uptown digs.

There are no windows, and now all of the doors are locked
but one.

And that one is "guarded" 24/7, by their Praetorian Guard.

  • They are a private police force.
  • They report directly to Winston Brooks, and
  • they report only to Winston Brooks.
  • They are certified by no one, and
  • they are accredited by no one.
  • They, and private investigators, gather and hold all of the evidence of even criminal misconduct by APS administrators.
Two years later, evidence of felony criminal misconduct involving senior APS administrators, including the past commander of their Praetorian Guard still has not been surrendered to the District Attorney's Office.

Evidence of public corruption and criminal conspiracy in the leadership of the APS Police Department, and their chain of command, is still secret from public knowledge.

Statutes of limitation expire within months.

Recollect for me the circumstances of the criminal prosecution
of a senior APS administrator, ever.

Stakeholders have been locked out of the process, and
they are now locked out of the building.

Winston Brooks will not answer questions.
He steadfastly refuses to name a time, a day, and a place,
where he will finally sit and tell the truth;
where he will answer every legitimate question, candidly,
forthrightly, and honestly.

The only thing missing;

APS Police Department snipers on the roof.
