KRQE's Larry Barker (r) just reamed Pahl Shipley (l)
in his report, link, on the latest wave to wash up on Governor Bill Richardson's beach of public corruption scandals.
I wondered as I watched, that Shipley seemed to get a little more ink than the rest of the targets in the investigation.
One of my allegigators, alleges, Barker was getting a little payback. It turns out that Barker used to work for Shipley at a local TV station. When Shipley left the station, Barker did too. The surmise is, Shipley was material in ending Barker's stint.
The moral of the story;
Never pick a fight with a guy that buys ink by the barrel, or apparently, with a guy that makes his living as an investigative reporter, in particular if you are going to work for the 38th most corrupt state government in the entire US.
