Elsy Fierro to Get Her Day In Court

The Journal reports that a hearing has been scheduled by the NMPED for former Rio Grande cluster leader Elsy Fierro. The hearing date is October 23. No other information was given in the article in the Journal.

Justice delayed, is justice denied.
William Gladstone

Imagine, almost five months after the scandal broke; and four months after the "investigation" was completed; the NMPED finally gets off its butt and schedules a hearing. And only then after Fierro had to go to court to get the NMPED to move.

Although the hearing is scheduled for next month; it will not be next month when the hearing officer finally issues a ruling.

Any delay serves the interests of Beth Everitt, who will be long gone before the truth about her involvement in Gradegate is ever printed in the Journal.

Delays in any process seem always to favor the interests of the most powerful person involved.
