Privilege will not be revoked at the polls.

Privilege was not born in a poll, it will not end in one.

Privilege is an accoutrement of power.

It exists as an exercise of power.

It will fall only to an exercise of greater power.

Historically, when privilege has fallen,
it has fallen to hordes of the great unwashed
who showed up at the palace, armed with nothing
but courage, and torches and pitchforks;

and didn't leave until they had a guarantee of
a full scale, forensic administrative accountability audit.

It is that way, still.
