APS School Board Member Griego suggests moving board meetings out into the community

Delores Griego, according to draft minutes of the November 13th meeting, has;

"... requested to have board meetings held in the community at schools to get more local feedback from constituents and more awareness out to the community regarding all of the wonderful work done by APS."
This would mark a return to the way it used to be.

Board meetings rotated around the district between high schools allowing community members at least occasionally convenient access to school board meetings. She made no mention of moving the meetings to a time of day that would accommodate people who have day jobs.

The minutes cite no support for her plan, from any other board member.

Which is not surprising in the least.
