Sander Rue lays truthtelling legislation on the table.

Kate Nash, link, lets us know,

State Senator Sander Rue
is going to reintroduce a measure he saw defeated in the last legislature. The measure would put state spending online real time, rather than the month's delayed time frame built into the Denish Database, link.

Whether he succeeds depends more on the folks around him
than on him in particular.

The hardest part of standing alone has got to be the wondering,
why?

As much as we need people to be the first through the breach,
we need people to be the second, and the third, and the fourth.

Someone needs to follow him through the breach.

Now would be the time for people to stand up behind him.

You have no control over your power and resources,
if you don't know the truth about how they are being spent.

It cannot be government of the people, by the people and
for the people, if it is government kept secret from the people.

All we need now is a House Member
to put the same bill on the table in the House.

Someone with character. Someone with courage.

My personal preference of course, would be
Janice Arnold-Jones,
aka Lady Sunshine, link.

It will be the responsibility of the press to see that
every representative and senator is on the record,
on the one side, or the other.
