Martinez, too little, too late.

Haussamen reports, link, that
Gubernatorial Candidate
Susana Martinez
is about to
join candidates who are
disclosing campaign
contributions more frequently
than the law requires.

According to Haussamen, campaign spokesperson Adam Deguire said;

“Susana Martinez believes in transparency and open
government. She is concerned that the current campaign
reporting schedule, with its long gaps between reports,
does not provide the type of transparency the public deserves.”
Fair enough, although it is fair to wonder at her timing;
coming aboard only after she had no real choice otherwise.

One could reasonably suppose the if the issue were of real
importance to her, she would have been among the first to
disclose, instead of being among the last.
