APS administrator wants open ethics hearing

From the Trib; a report by Susie Gran. (link)

The story is the same; Elsy Fierro and her attorney are arguing that she has a right to a public hearing.

The Educator Ethics Bureau and the Public Education Department say they are "required" to conduct the hearing secret from public knowledge.

These are the same people who did an "official" investigation of gradegate and did not interview Beth Everitt on the record. (link)

If they were actually ethical; they would be surrendering the truth to public knowledge. Instead they are doing everything they can to keep it hidden; even in violation of the law.

Their exception to the law is litigated by lawyers
working on the public dime.

There is no good reason to hide the truth.
If there was a good reason; they would offer it
to public scrutiny.

Really, they would.

OK

And they are still trying to protect this kid's privacy after Mama Bear paraded Baby Bear on two TV interviews and on radio interviews to trash his former coach and teachers because they didn't understand his inherant victim status. Pobre Cito! Give me a break!
