Paula Maes back in driver's seat

In the Journal this morning, link, it is reported that "Outgoing board president Martin Esquivel — ... handed the presidential reins to Paula Maes on Wednesday".

Maes was the School Board President four years ago when she announced (we) "will never agree to any audit that individually identifies" corrupt or incompetent administrators.

Maes is currently a named respondent in a federal lawsuit, link, alleging her abuse of her powers as a school board member.

It would appear that anyone who thought new blood on the Board, Analee Maestas and Katherine Korte, was going to change anything, are bound to be disappointed.

The school board remains little more than a swirling cesspool of corruption and cover ups, thanks in no small part to the Journal and the establishment media, members of Maes' NM Broadcasters Association. I blame;

Editor Kent Walz and the Journal,
News Director Sue Stephens and KOAT TV,
News Director Julie Szulczewski and KOB TV, and
News Director Iain Munro and KRQE TV.
