Changes on the APS School Board

The APS School Board has two new members, Katherine Korte and Analee Maestas. They have also rearranged committee chairmanships.

The worst news; Paula Maes is the School Board President again. She, because of her influence over the establishment media, is by far the most dangerous board member. It is her influence over the media that encourages them to ignore the ethics and accountability scandal in the leadership of the APS. Since she joined the board, I cannot think of a single investigation and report by the media, that cost an APS senior administrator their job.

That the media could do that, is beyond question. If they investigated and reported upon the Caswell Report for example, senior heads would roll. According to Gil Lovato and his lawyer Sam Bregman, "if the truth ever gets out, there won't be a single APS senior administrator left standing"

Maes is the only board member named as a respondent in a Federal lawsuit alleging her personal abuse of power.

Marty Esquivel will be taking
over the Finance Committee.
This means he will also chair
the Audit Committee. From
that seat, he can continue to
deny due process ( a final
hearing) to hundreds of
whistle blower complaints.

The coward David Peercy will continue as chairman of the board’s Policy & Instruction Committee where he can continue to block open and honest public discussion of student standards of conduct and the obligations of role models of those standards.

He is blocking the open and honest public discussion of restoring the role modeling clause to the adult standards of conduct;
In no case, shall the standards of conduct for an adult,
be lower than the standards for students.

I wouldn't have thought things could get worse on the school board, but apparently they have.
